Park It And Picnic

New this year, we’re rolling into summer with food trucks, friends, and fun! You can bring your own food and drinks, but purchases from the food trucks are welcome and a portion of each sale goes to the PTO.

Playground Palooza

Summer is fun but kids miss their friends! Bring them to the playground this summer to catch up. This is not a drop-and-go event, please remain with your child for the duration of your stay.

Kindergarten Welcome

The PTO would like to welcome you and your student to Forest Edge! Come mingle with the other families you’ll be seeing around the school while your child enjoys a sweet treat and wears themselves out making new friends!

Back To School Event

With plenty of free activities and food, this event is a night to remember and fun for the whole family!

Cereal Drive

The Forest Edge PTO helps to collect boxed cereal to support local FES families and the Oregon Food Pantry.

STEAM Fair

Every Spring the PTO is proud to bring the Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math Fair to Forest Edge. Sign-ups are in February and participation is free!

Game Night

Pizza, games, even a craft station was made available at our first annual Game Night in 2024. This is an event to get the whole family out of the house and playing with friends in the middle of winter.

Conference Potlucks

Conferences mean long days! In the Fall and Spring, the PTO invites you to help us LOAD up the teachers and staff with a yummy baked potato bars and other potluck themes.

Field Day

We celebrate the end of the school year with a day of fun, team building activities and fresh air for the students of Forest Edge!

6th Grade Send Off

Forest Edge Elementary School is K-6, which means we like to send our 6th graders off to middle school in style with a color run!

Chalk the Walk

The last week of school is full of excitement, and the Forest Edge PTO loves adding to it with sidewalk chalk! Look out for your opportunity each year to write and draw messages to celebrate the last week of school with everyone.

Trivia Night

New this year (2025), we hosted a Harry Potter Trivia night to encourage and celebrate our young readers. Everyone was sorted into houses, ate pizza, drank polyjuice potion, and participated in an exciting game of trivia. The evening ended with awards for the winning team and the costume contest!
